The New Mouseketeers, 12 children, will appear every weekday afternoon in “The Mickey Mouse Club,” a new series of 25minute programmes cele-
brating Mickey’s fiftieth anniversary. The first episode, this afternoon on TVI, is called “It’s a Who, What, Where, When, and How Day.” Each programme will include cartoons, comedy-
adventure serials (Disney feature films which have been split into 10-minute segments), a regular “Showtime” spot which features teen-age American singers, dancers, and musicians, and occasional
visits to such places as an animal-training centre, a gliding club, and recording studios. The Mouseketeers themselves also take the stage, to sing and dance.
