Forest ends with draw
NZPA-Reuter Liverpool The English football champion, Nottingham Forest, closed its highly successful season with a sterling defensive display which earned it a scoreless draw at Liverpool on Thursday night. The match was the final league contest for both clubs, and Forest ended the season with 64 points based oh 25 wins and only three losses from 42 league matches. It also won the League Cup in its first season after promotion from the second division.
