Snooker to Reardon
NZPA-Reuter Sheffield, England Kay Reardon (Wales) has won the world professional snooker championship for the sixth time at Sheffield with a 25-18 win over Perrie Mans (South Africa) in the 49-frame final. The South African champion, four frames down overnight at 14-18, won the first three frames on Saturday but Reardon
stopped the slide with a breal of 100 and ran out the matcl for the loss of only one mor< frame. He captured seven o the last eight frames in a grand stand finish. Reardon won a record firs prize of £7500 and Mans tooi £3500. Results (Reardon first). —Firs session: 54-80. 42-64, 31-82, 107-12 86-26, 89-15, 16-64, 92-50. SecOUi session: 82-43, 75-44, 60-49.
