R. Vance, the rider of Royal Centurion in the Mount Roskilt Handicap at Avondale on Saturday. was suspended from riding up to and including May 6 for causing interference to Royal Bourbon in the home straight Able Note was a late scratching, on veterinary advice, for the Avondale Championship Stakes. He suffered a deep rut in his near-shoulder while beilig transported to the course.
