Julie Andrews, the British actress and singer, has come out of the seclusion of her home at Gstaad, Switzerland, to appear in an American television show called “One Step Into Spring.” It is her first appearance before a camera in more than three years, during which she has devoted most of her time to her family. She has a child from a former marriage, and with her present husband, the film director, Blake Edwards, she has adopted two Vietnamese orphans.
