f NZPA London I The Prime Minister (Mr i Muldoon) may fit in some I self-promotion when he makes his flying visit to London later this month. He is reported not to know about it yet, but the publishing firm of Angus and Robertson has advanced the British release date of the book, “Muldoon,” to coincide with the visit.
Although Mr Muldoon will (be in London for only one! full day and will have a tight schedule of engagements, the publisher’s marketing manager (Mr Alan Greene) said it was hoped that some book ( promotion could be fitted into I the programme. ; The book seems likely to (need all the promotion it! can get. Mr Greene said that ( only 1000 copies had been( ordered by British book-i sellers; and he does not ex-1 pect sales to rise much beyond 4000, a pitifully low figure by British political books sales standards. Publication of the book was timed for May 21 but was . brought forward when ■ Mr Muldoon’s trip was an-! nounced.
“If we cannot get him into a store signing copies, we will take along a bundle of books to the press confer-! ence he is having,” Mr| I Greene said.
