New building
A new administration; building for the North Can-j terbury Hospital Board will} be built on land in Oxford; Terrace, near the Christ-} church Hospital. Under this scheme the; (board will sell property it! owns in Oxford Terrace to} (the firm, which will take all 'responsibility for the capital} ; cost and planning of the; building. The board will then; i lease the building, with an! option to purchase. i A similar scheme was used; by the Canterbury Education! Board, which leases its build-'

I Responsibility for some in-} jterior partitioning and for all! i furnishing of the building! (will be taken by the Hospital' i Board. ; No date to begin the build-; }ing is known but one board' I officer said yesterday that} }the proposal "will bring an I 'end to a big building head-! j ache.
