K.P. SHARE PRICE FIRMS
Share prices continued to ease on a mixed, active New Zealand sharemarket yesterday. Kempthorne Prosser firmed; the ordinary shares traded between 270 c and 278 c, while the preference shares sold between 240 c and 250 c. The N.Z.U.C. index continued to ease, falling 2.11 points to 307.37.
