Ry Cooder in May
Ry Cooder, a guitar virtuoso little known outside the United States except by dedicated rock freaks, is to perform a concert in the Christchurch Town Hall on Friday, May 19. Cooder and his group specialise in a mixture of Tex-Mex music, Okie dustbowl ballads, Hawaiian steel guitar and gospel, all of which blends perfectly to give him acclaim in the United States.
