SHOPPING LIST
By shopping around for specials, we managed to compile our own “Shopping Basket” for a family of four, allowing one luxury (chicken) and taking a quarter of the cost of monthly requirements, such as washing-up liquid, cleaners, shampoo, toothpaste, soap, etc. To comply with the “average” household unage, we gave the family a pet—a cat or a small dog.
