Motor-cycle gear taken from shop
Burglars stole more than $lOOO worth Of motor-cycl-ing gear from Nqrjo Motors, Ltd, Colombo Street, early yesterday. The haul consisted mainly of' helmets, gloves, jackets, and motor-cycle boots.
Detectives are also investigating three big burglaries of private homes in Christchurch. A house in Moa Place, Richmond, was . entered and a stereo radio cassette player worth $B5O stolen. A stero set valued at $5BO was taken from a house in England Street, Linwood, and cameras and clothing to the value of $732 were stolen from a house in Winton Street, St Albans. Constable Rowe’s body I has not been found.
