Bowser passes test
Firemen were called out last evening after a car knocked over a petrol bowser at the Central Service Station, in Worcester Street. The brigade was expecting petrol to have flooded the area, as usually happens in such accidents, but the pump was one of a new type, fitted with an automatic cut-off valve. “It would save a lot of trouble if' they were all , like that.” said a Fire SerI vice spokesman.
