Wool prices firmer
PA Invercargill Crossbred fleece, skirtings, and first lambs’ wool inclined in sellers’ favour at the second day of the Invercargill wool sale yesterday. Crossbred oddments and second lambs’ wool were firm on Wednesday’s rates. The main competition came from Eastern and: Western Europe and the Middle East. The Wool Board bid on 4.3 per cent of the offering and had 112 bales (0.6 peri cent) passed to it. I
