SYSTEMS ANALYST/ PROGRAMMER CADBURY SCHWEPPES HUDSON are seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced person for the above position. The person we are seeking will have had 3-4 years programming experience, preferably using COBOL, and some experience in the systems analysis and design field. Experience in an on-line environment would also be an advantage. Cadburys is a Dunedin-based manufacturer of a diversified range of food products. Currently we operate an ICL 1902 system, with a 32K (word) professor, 2 x EDSB exchangeable disc drives and magnetic tape. Data capture is by Key Edit. In July, 1978, we are to install an ICL 2903 svstem, with a 44K (word) processor and 2 x EDS3O exchangeable disc drives. Data capture will be by DDE. We have also ordered, for later installation, equipment which will allow on-line processing. The work to be undertaken will be both challenging and varied. It will initially include designing and programming an on-line Stock Control svstem and at a later date, include expansion of our current Standard Costing system. There is also the possibility of extending the dn-line systems into our branches. A competitive salary, based on qualification and experience, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
