Householders warned
PA Hamilton The Hamilton police yesterday urged people to check: the identification of persons coming to the door, before letting them inside their houses.
The call came after an incident of indecent assault this week when a man was admitted into a house after claiming to be a doctor. The officer in charge of the investigation. Detective Senior-Sergeant T. R. Carmichael, said the man being sought had also been reported by three other persons.
All the incidents had hap pened in the Te Rapa area
The man had clairqed that he was a doctor, a council employee checking on the timber content of houses, and a social worker undertaking a Social Welfare Department survey on juvenile delinquency.
