Andrews has slender lead
I NZPA Melbourne The expatriate New Zealand jockey. Brian Andrews, could surrender his Melbourne jockeys’ premiershir* lead in absentia at Sandown Park today.
Andrews has ridden 34 metropolitan winners this season, one more than Roy Higgins. At present, however, he is serving out a suspension, and ; Higgins has landed four top rides, including the former New Zealand gallonor Tai Maha] in the First Heroic Handicap !'1200m) for two-vear-old colts and geldings.
