Timaru to host Coopworth conference

The following day breeders will visit flocks at Temuka, Geraldine, Woodbury, Peel Forest and at Mt Peel. The Director-General of Agriculture, Mr M. L. Cameron, will address delegates on Wednesday night. Another speaker will be the head of the anima! science
department of Lincoln Col lege, Professor A. Sykes. Or Thursday there will be z panel discussion including members of tne council ol the society. One of the conference organisers, Mr M. L. S. Talbot (Temuka) said that the tour would aptly demonstrate the Coopworth’s production ability and potential to thrive under differing environments ranging from sea level to :he high country. Mr Talbot said that commercial sheep farmers interested in Coopworths were :urdially invited to register or the conference and/or he tour of flocks on either >r both days.
