New game licence
Wellington reporter One game licence wil now be valid for the whole of the South Island or Nortf Island. In the past, each separate acclimatisation society of which there are 24, has issued an independent licence for its area. This meant that if a sportsman wanted to hunt in another district he had to obtain an endorsement stickei from the relevant acclimatisation soceity if there was an agreement between it ant his own area or buy a new licence if there was not. The new licence will cost $l2 in the South Island anc >12.50 in the North Island.
