N.Z. volleyball squads named

Canterbury volleyball players] feature prominently in the; national squads from which the j men’s and women’s teams for an international tournament in New. Caledonia next month will be selected. The squads will assemble on! different week-ends this month* in Wellington for trials and: Selection. The tournament will; be held at the end of May in: Noumea. featuring Australia, New Caledonia and French Polynesia as well as New Zealand. The women’s trials are on the week-end of April 15-16, and the I men’s the following week-end.] The named squads are also expected to provide the bulk of the! teams for the Asian championships later in the year.
