Section of South Mall
The supermarket is an important section of the South Mall which opens on April 27. Haywrights Ltd, which already has an established branch on the site, is developing the mall and will be celebrating the supermarket’s opening today with specials at its Sydenham branch. The South Mali will include a walk-way between the car park and Colombo Street and nine speciality stores which will be built at the site of the Super Value, which closed last week. The tenants for these stores will be finalised this week but their shops will generally be ones that are not already in Sydenham, said a Haywrights spokesman.
