Health check
A community health check programme will begin next week at the Northlands Shopping Centre. The Seventh Day Adventist Church will set up 10 booths, which will provide information and health tests. Checks will be given on blood pressure and lung capacity and attention drawn to the dangers of smoking. Selected A Howick lawyer, Mr W. Peter, has been chosen as the National Party candidate for Hunua in the General Election.
