Turner out of tour
PA Auckland Glenn Turner, until this summer the top New Zealand batsman, will not be available for tests or other matches during the New Zealand tour of England frotp June to September There had been the orospect that Turner, who is having his benefit year with his county, Worcestershire, might be available for some tour games, including the three tests. However, yesterday Mr Walter Hadlee, chairman of the Cricket Council board of control, said that Turner notified the board that he would not be available. Test goes slowly. Back page.
