Tour in black
The gate takings at the third cricket test yesterday were nearly $BOOO and they brought the match total, after three days, to more than $03,000. The New Zealand Cricket Council is now certain to make at least a small profit from the tour.
Its costs were estimated at between $200,000 and $220,000 and the total receipts for the tour have now reached 5220.000.
