SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT ON A STEADY N.Z. MARKET
Share prices improved slightly on a steady, moderately active New Zealand sharemarket yesterday. Golden Bay Cement rose 1c on its higher dividend, but Sanford continued to ease, falling a further 10c to 380 c. The N.Z.U.C. index was marginally firmer, rising 0.67 points to 296.86.
