U.K. Govt to give away Scott’s ship

The three-masted ship is visited by more than , 250,000 people a year and is ' the floating museum for relics of the 1901-04 ex- [ pedition led by Captain ! Scott. During the First World War she was used by the French as a munitions transporter. In 1928 she returned 1 to the Antarctic with Sir j Douglas Mawson’s expedition. Since then she has [been used by a number of I organisations, including the Iboy scouts and sea scouts. [
