Game fishing slow
PA Tauranga Tauranga fishermen had a poor day with only three game-fish being caught on the fifth day of the national big-game fishing contest. However, compared with many other areas.in the contest, the Tauranga club’s tally was not as bad as it seemed. Poor conditions in other areas resulted in no catches at all. Tauranga fishermen landed a striped marlin, one hammerhead shark, and a mako shark.
