Crewman missing
PA Auckland A crew member from the passenger liner Canberra ’is believed to have drowned after falling overboard off North Cape yesterday morning.
The liner, which left Auckland late on Wednesday night, called Auckland Radio about 10.20 a.m. after a passenger reported sighting a body in the water. I
The Canberra made a brief search, but after a count of passengers revealed no-one was missing it continued on to Sydney.
