We are currently preparing our overseas orders on replacement parts to be drawn from the Clayson factory and we therefore seek your co-operation to register your machine prior to March 10, 1978, thus assisting us to ensure that your valuable asset is not immobilised through the lack of spare parts. Our policy is to service al! Clayson Combines, but because we do not know the exact number and models of machines operating in New Zealand, some of our own valuable and loyal clients have suffered from non-availability of spare parts, which has been beyond our control through the direct imported machine owners unexpectedly drawing spare parts from our organisation. The closing date for applications will be May 1, 1977. 3198 Environmental impact Report Notified TE MARUA WATER STORAGE AND TREATMENT SCHEME THE COMMISSION FOR THE ENVIRONMENT has received an environmental impact report prepared by the Wellington Regional Water Board on the proposal to construct two large reservoirs and a water treatment plant on terraces of the Hutt River at Te Mania north of Upper Hutt City. The report assesses the impact of the proposal on the local environs and community as well as its impact upon recreational uses of the river and the proposed adjoining Regional Park. Representations in writing on the environmental aspects of the proposal and on the report are invited and should be sent to the Commission for the Environment, P.O. Box 11244. Wellington, before April 7, 1978. Copies of the report may be obtained from the Wellington Regional Water Board, M.E.D. Building, 40-44 Cuba Street, P.O. Box 11245. Wellington. The report may be read at the public libraries in Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, Pinehaven, Petone, and Porirua, as well as at the libraries of the four main centres and the seven university institutions. WENDELKEN, Assistant Commissioner for the Environment. 3135 Ministry of ■ Agriculture VF & Fisheries NOTICE TO FISHERMEN THE FISHERIES GENERAL REGULATIONS 1950 have been amended bv Amendment No. 26 Section 15 107 E. “A closed season is hereby prescribed for the Kaiapoi and Cam Rivers and their tributaries during the months of March and April in each year, during which months it shall be unlawful to take fish from the river and tributaries, or purchase or possess any fish so taken.” This regulation shall come into force on the Ist day of March 1978.
