B.H.P. farms-in
I The Broken Hill Company, [Ltd, advises that its oil and gas subsidiary, Hematite Petroleum Pty, Ltd, has concluded an agreement with International Oil, Ltd, in the Surat B sin. Hematite will conduct a seismic survey and drill four wells by November 30, 1979 to earn a 75 per cent working interest in part of authority to prospect 145 P, held by International Oil. International Oil will retain a 25 per cent working interest. Australian Oil and Gas Corporation will h ve 7.5 per cent net profit interest in the area. The agreement is subject to approval by the Australian Minister of Mines.
