NZPA Sydney Despite industrial disputes and the subdued activity in the building and construction fields. Concrete Industries (Monier), Ltd, increased group net profit 18.3 per cent to $Au5t5,362,000 in the six months to December 31. Increased profits came from roofing activities in the United States of America, now wholly-owned, and from companies working in lapan, Indonesia and Malaysia, said the chairman (Mr S. Owens). New Zealand roofing activities were disappointing, he said. Turnover rose 15 per cent to 5104.4 M. I'he interim dividend is being maintained at 4.5 c (9 per cent).
