Thaw brings flood
Floods hit snowbound towns in south-west England when a thaw set in after the heaviest snowfall in 30 years on Wednesday. Some communities reported streets under 2m of water and police said that riverside {towns might be threatened Iby a sudden thaw of millions of tonnes of snow. — London.
