Campers visit
■ A cavalcade of camper Ivans paid a fleeting visit to ' Christchurch on Wednesday might. Forty-four members of the ■ International Caravaning ■ Association from the United States, South Africa, England, and Scotland, are making a six-week tour of New Zealand in 22 camper vans hired in Auckland from Tasman Tui Campers. The cavalcade was stranded in Wellington because of the rail strike and the tourists had to curtail the Christchurch leg of their visit to get back on schedule, said the South Island supervisor for Tasman Tui Campers (Mr J. R. Morrison). The vans arrived in Christchurch on Wednesday evening, spent the night at the Meadowpark Motor Camp, and left first thing in the morning for Dunedin. They are due back in Auckland on March 18.
