Credit Note impressive
Special correspondent Palmerston North Credit Note continued his vast improvement when he ran a great trial for the Nelson Cup at Awapuni yesterday. Credit Note is better than a week or two ago when he won at Wanganui and on yesterday’s gallop it is hard to see him beaten on the trip south. Highland Hight was also !m pressive in her final trial for Nelson. On the plough, the only track used for fast work, Credit Note, with a weight disadvantage,, trounced Imascamp over 1600 m in Imin 43sec. the last 600 in 39.8 sec. Credit Note bolted right away in the straight. It was a most impressive trial. Gone With The Wind looked scratchy running 1000 m in Imin* 3sec. the last 600 in 38.6 sec. She goes to Nelson Kirstie toek 37sec for the final 600 after going two rounds. She is in good order for the high weight at Nelson Fur Trappeur beat Bright Phoenix over 800 in 52sec, the last 600 in Fur Trappeur could do well at Nelson. Highland Flight beat See Legs over 100 m in Imin 4sec. the last 600 in 39sec. High’a nd Flight should win at Nelson
