New export incentive
PA Wellington, Several products have i been added to the list of) goods which qualify for the; increased exports incentive ■ scheme, the Minister in ; Charge of the Inland Revenue Department (Mr Templeton); said. The goods which now; qualify are certain processed meat and poultry' products,! processed deep-frozen semen, ’ pottery clay, and body and; animal gland and 'organ extracts for pharmaceutical research. Mr Templeton said that

' The Government had decided to encourage greater; i processing of primary; ■i products; and the inclusion ; I; of the processed animal i , i products in the scheme would [ .[be of great benefit to thei ;[meat processing industry. i i Exporters would be able I I’ to claim the taxation conces-; sion as from April 1, Mr: y Templeton said.
