April McDonald (Burwood) has the opportunity today to add the Christchurch women’s bow s champion-of-champions pairs title to the singles crown she won last month. Mrs M< Donald was one of the eight skips remaining after the first three rounds in the pairs championship yesterday. However. she only just survived the third round, beating Marie Ham ilton (Barrington) on an extra end. The other seven skips besides Mrs McDonald to continue at Shirley today are H. Divers (Mona Valei. J. Walker /Shirley). B. Thompson (Oxford), E. McCallum (Shaw Avenue), J. Ryan (Christchurch-Richmond ', R. Berry (Linwood), ind E. Spier (Edgeware).
