Big Easter lottery
j PA Wellington A third half-million dolj lar lottery, called "Pot O' Gold.” will be held later I this month. The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Highet) said that tickets for the lottery would go on sale on February 27 and the draw made before Easter. For this reason there would not be an Easter
race sweepstake, this year, he said. Mr Htghet said there had been an overwhelmingly public response to the first two half-million dollar lotteries with tickets selling out in the main centres within tw'o or three days. He expected the re sponse to the “Pot O Gold” lottery to be equally as strong.
