Sly Brewer has boon pur chased bv Mr A. G. Shaw, of Elkorn, Wisconsin. Mr Shaw races the former New Zealand horse. For to Prontezza. Sly Brewer has raced for most of this season from the Templeton stables of Derek Jones. Before that he was trained for much of his racing by Colin Baynes, of Gore WHO htfl NMMra the six-year-old In partnership with his nephew Dos Baynes, of Edendale. A geltkng by Sly Yankee from Ferndale Star, Sly Brewer won nine races. _
