The container was carrying drugs from Kempthorne Prosser at Dunedin. The door flew open in the Oamaru area on Tuesday n ght, scat-; . tenng some of the drugs along the line. Eight different pharmaceu-i it ; cals, including classified dangerous drugs, were in the container. , The Oamaru stationmaster (Mr G. J. Muirden) said yesterday that a detailed list of the consignment would not be checked with the container until it arrived at its | destination, Te Papapa, in the Auckland province. Although a Railways gang checked the line yesterday and found nothing, residents in Palmerston have found some of the drugs.
