Lloyd makes £27,119
NZPA-Reuter Manchester Clive Lloyd, the West Indian cricket captain, has received a club record of £27,119 for his testimonial season with the English country club, Lancashire, it was announced. Mr John Brewer, the chairman of Lloyd’s Testimonial Committee, said: “It is a magnificent total when it is remembered that Clive was out of the county team for nearly five months. He was dogged with injury and criticised for his connection with the Kerry Packer organisation.” The county club has not yet announced whether Lloyd will be playing for Lancashire next Golf.—Debbie Austin, of the U.S. recovered from a triplebogey eight to win the Ameri-' can Cancer Society classic at Miami by one stroke over Japan's Nayoko Yoshikawa and Beth Solomon (U.S.).
