iNZPA Sydney, , The crew of the battered! [Antarctic yacht Solo plan to! [put ashore on Young Island,, according to the skipper, Dr' David Lewis. [ Speaking by radio-; [telephone, Dr Lewis told hisi i wife yesterday that the holej : smashed in the yacht’s hull! below the water line had, , been repaired. “He said the crew was fit! and well.” Mrs Lewis re-| ported. The yacht was hove to off Young Island in the Balleny, group, about 180 nautical! miles from the Antarctic! mainland, she said. “They hope to put a four-: man party ashore in a life-} raft if the weather lifts,” she! said.
