Tikumu’s letter
Dear Children, ~ Travelling can be fun, particuarly in the holiday;,. But no-one likes sitting still tor hours on end, and most of us soon become tired or bored on long journeys. Time passes much more quickly if we nlay some games. When you travel about in cars, buses, and trains this month, try some of the play ideas suggested
on this page. They are especially chosen for these occasions. Take an extra bag with you on your journey, too, and fill it with useful things such as string, ?. pencil, notebook, counters or beans, and • a bottle of drink. I hope you are all having happy holidays, Tikumu
