Picnic idea
If you are planning on a picnic pudding of the mousse, trifle, or jelly type, make it directly into a plastic container with a lid — or, if you want to keep the puddings separate, into individual smaller containers. They can still be made to look appetising and decorative, but from a more practical point of view, they will not spill if they are tipped, or be invaded by armies of marching ants on the picnic ground.
