Objection to links with Chile

Plans to appoint a New Zealand Ambassador to Chile have been condemned by the Christchurch Chilean Solidarity Committee.

A spokesman for the committee, Mr D. J. Casey, said that it was time New Zealand realised that Chile was a fascist dictatorship similar to Hitler’s Germany.
