Fine croquet display
The highlight of the second day s play at the New Zealand Croquet Council’s gold and silver mallets competition at the United greens yesterday was the form of the Canterbury player, Peter Couch. Couch recorded three good wins, including a narrow, 26-24 win over the leading Canterbury player, Susan Grigg. Results:— Section one (players from Canterbury unless otherwise stated): Mrs K.
