Howarth in N.Z. again
PA Auckland The Surrey professional cricketer Geoff Howarth, has arrived back in . New Zealand with strong hopes of playing for the Auckland team this summer. The allrounder, who has represented New Zealand, said that he would be available for Auckland’s representative programme. “If everything works out, I could be [rejoining Suburbs-New Lynn [for club cricket in the four months. I will be here,” said Howarth. Last season, Howarth played for Northern Districts in the Shell Shield competition but negotiations between them broke down this summer while Howarth was in England.
