Man lay on road
An unemployed labourer, Ngamanu Karauria Poroa, aged 18, who lay down on a roadway at 3 a.m. when he could not succeed in hitching a ride, was sentenced in the Magistrate’s Court at Tauranga to a month’s periodic detention on a charge of disorderly behaviour. — (P.A.)
