Avonhead's new vicar
The new vicar of the Avonhead parish has been named. He is the Rev. R. A. Robertson, who replaces the Rev. 1 H. E. Thomson. Mr Roberton was trained, at St John’s College, Auck-. land, and was ordained in* 1968. Since then he has served as curate of Linwoodand then Burwood. In 1969, he was appointed * as chaplain to Twizel, an ecumenical appointment, and in' 1975 to his present post of< vicar of Lincoln. Mr Roberton expects to move to Avonhead about mid-February.
