P.M. happy about tour
PA Wellington The Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) told the acting Prime Minister (Mr Talboys) on the telephone yesterday that he was “absolutely convinced” of the value of his tour of the United States, and his meetings there. Asked whether Mr Muldoon knew about critical comments appearing in New Zealand about his tour, and his lack of publicity in the United States, Mr Taiboys said “These matters had been conveyed to him.”
