Businessmen were telephoned by a person claiming to represent the club and were asked for a $5O “donation” in return for a | page advertisement in a I booklet the club intended to ' produce. i But the club’s secretary I (Mr. T. Kreft) said on Tjhursi day that there was no such I booklet and no member of [the club had been authorised | to ask people for money.
