Beef price goes up
The main changes in the prices paid to farmers for export meat are a 6c a kilogram rise for all weights of bull beef and a 3c a kilogram increase for manufacturing ox, heifer, and cow beef.
The only other change in the schedules of prices is a further slight reduction in prices for lamb skins. These have been reduced by 3c where the skin is carrying Ikg of wool to 6c where the wool-pull is Ikg. These skins will now be worth from 251 c for one with |kg of wool to 342 c for a skin with Ikg of wool. These changes reflect an easing in wool values.
